A sensor detects abnormal conditions (such as high temperature or overcurrent) and protects the pump via electronic circuits. A lamp indicates abnormal states. The main circuit board is molded with urethane resin for enhanced moisture resistance.

A built-in heater and temperature sensor work together to automatically protect the pump from freezing conditions.
